treeOp is looking for Artists and Labels to contribute “music seeds”

to be included within the launch of a new online collaboration platform

myMusicTree.com

What is myMusicTree?

A place where creativity grows on trees

How does it work?

Upload a “music seed” to begin your tree.

Invite contributors to add something of their own to make your tree grow.

Your seed, which starts as a single musical idea, can branch off into many songs and take on many forms as it continues to inspire.

One small seed is brimming with possibilities.

To get you started out we’ve provided you with 10 invites to share amongst your friends and plenty of space to start planting trees. See below for our examples on how to use the tree.  You may have ideas of your own so remember, the sky’s the limit!

The easiest way to get started using myMusicTree is by planting “seeds” of your own.
It could be a drum loop or an idea for a vocal melody you've been humming in your head for days...
Think of “seeds” as the core inspiration for a tree to expand into unique, original content.  The tree is an expression of the limitless.

Use myMusicTree as an opportunity to make a deeper connection with fans through storytelling and collaboration. Recycle unreleased demos and b-sides and donate them as “seeds” to the community on myMusicTree. A Remix Contest is a great way to let fans re-envision your tracks to share throughout their social circles.

Visit the Seed Bank to start uploading your “seeds” now, or Browse the Forest to check out other trees in the making. Don’t worry if you get lost in the trees... The Helpful Dwellers of myMusicTree are there to help you along the way.
